    Grant Accounting Manager - Hybrid in Baltimore

    About the Company and Opportunity:

    • Our client is a nonprofit organization founded in 1944
    • Due to growth, they are hiring a Grant Accounting Manager in their Baltimore headquarters.
    • This position is temporary but depending on performance and fit could become permanent
    • Pay $36-41 depending on experience
    • Hybrid - after training

    Overview of the Grant Accounting Manager role:

    • Oversee the preparation and timely submission of grant reporting and applications.
    • Ensure compliance with the rules and regulation provided from the administrator/federal government.
    • Grant monitoring
    • Assist with quarterly and annual regulatory fillings
    • Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, assist with reporting and external audit
    • Ad hoc project

    Preferred Qualifications for the Grant Accounting Manager:

    • Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
    • 2-3 years of grants experience
    • Nonprofit experience
    • Navision/Netsuite is a plus
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
