Description

Reporting to the Senior Program Director, the Accountability Manager (AM) is responsible for managing GPS and Secure-Manage devices, overseeing Accountability Specialists' work schedule to ensure compliance with Home Confinement monitoring.

Key tasks include supervising residents transferred to Home Confinement with GPS devices, coordinating their movement schedule with case managers, and ensuring 24/7 monitoring by ACS.

Collaborating with the Intake & Admission Coordinator to generate monthly reports on GPS assignments, program failures, data collection, and other compliance requirements.

Additionally, preparing escape reports, guiding the facility on resident whereabouts, documenting violations, conducting investigations, and installing GPS devices as needed.

The Accountability Manager will also monitor resident movements during home confinement, social pass, treatment, employment, and community activities to meet Bureau of Prisons guidelines.

Monitoring activities include unannounced visits, telephone verifications, and proper documentation of contacts and tracking records.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervise and coordinate Accountability Specialists' work schedules, monitor residents' movements during various activities.
  • Collaborate with case managers to develop resident schedules in compliance with BOP and ACA guidelines.
  • Coordinate Accountability Specialist visits with Employment Placement Specialist, implement community-based monitoring, conduct site visits, and maintain proper documentation.
  • Report deviations, conduct initial meetings with residents and families, stay updated on regulations and procedures, and participate in training and meetings.
  • Prepare reports, participate in team meetings, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

EFFECT ON END RESULTS:
  • Improve residents' programming, accountability, and public safety.
  • Monitor residents' participation and successful program completion, reduce escape incidents, and enhance transitions to community life.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The Accountability Manager must meet the following physical requirements:

  • Safely operate a motor vehicle as needed.
  • Travel to assigned locations, stand, stoop, bend, reach, lift, climb, talk, see, hear, and perform basic tasks.
