Sheina Taub

I just wrapped up my eleventh year as a Baltimore City Public School teacher. Over my years of teaching inner-city high school Spanish, I have worked diligently to hone the skills necessary to lead groups of youth, time management, data collection, long-form planning, assessment strategies, curriculum development, and high-pressure decision-making. 

The following are highlights from my career: 

• I have earned the top evaluation status of “highly effective teacher” every year of my career
• In 2017, I received a Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad Grant to travel with other educators to Peru for curriculum development
• In 2016, I was inducted into Phi Delta Kappa, a sorority for female professionals in education
• In 2012, I was recognized as Teacher of the Month

I am open to a variety of opportunities, both related to education and in other sectors. Fortunately, many of the skills required for effective teaching translate to other professional opportunities, such as private language academies, office management, educational consulting, and mentoring positions.
