    Description

    Director of Psychiatric Services**OFFERING RELOCATION PACKAGE IF NEEDED**Horizon Health *is seeking a *Program Director *to oversee the Behavioral Health Program at Yuma Regional Medical Center in *Yuma, AZ*.

    The unit is a 24 bed, adult inpatient unit.

    There is also 2 IOPs, and will soon have a Medical Detox unit, Substance Use IOP, and later on a Geriatric unit.


    Included in these responsibilities are:
    1) the development and maintenance of a high-quality treatment program; 2) the development and implementation of a comprehensive community relations program; and 3) strategic planning, program administration, and development. The *Program Director* will provide supervision to Program Horizon employed clinical and administrative staff.
    *Performs as liaison between Program, Hospital and Horizon; Supports Hospital and Horizon missions, goals and objectives

    • Provides leadership and direction in accordance with Hospital guidelines
    • Provides clinical supervision for Program nursing, counseling, patient support and administrative staff
    • Develops, in coordination with assigned VP, Clinical Practice, implements and updates all policies and procedures for the Program
    • In coordination with the Hospital, ensures the Program meets and maintains all federal, state, local and accrediting bodies' regulations and standards
    • Develops processes to audit and coordinate ongoing education to ensure all staff are trained on proper documentation of all aspects of the patient's care
    • Recruits, interviews, and selects qualified staff for the Program.
    • Provides for professional growth and development of staff through identification of needs, development of individual training plans and participation in training programs
    • Defines goals and objectives of the treatment program under the direction of hospital administration and Horizon leaders
    • Collaborates with medical and clinical staff in coordinating and managing the medical and psychosocial treatment plans
