    Founded in 2004 and employing over 2,400 people in five global locations, our client is a fast-growing technology services firm providing IT consulting and solutions to varied industries ranging from capital markets and financial services to manufacturing. The company remains privately owned and is poised for further rapid growth with an expectation of doubling headcount within the next 2 years within the U.S. marketplace. We are now seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Sales with a proven track record in hunting for new business opportunities to join their busy, successful and growing team.

    Head of Sales

    $175-225K base plus bonus and excellent benefits package with $325-350K OTE.

    Hybrid working from home role with office location options including: Irvine, CA; Dallas, TX; Portland, OR, Washington, DC metro.

    Position summary:

    This is a hunter role with approximately 75% of the time as an individual sales contributor and 25% mentoring sales leaders of the other, smaller verticals. Your recent experience must be focused on hunting new logos specifically within midsized & large IT Consulting & Professional Services firms ($70 million revenues and up / 2,000 employees and up). BFSI Vertical and $10+ million deal size experience is also required.

    To be successful in this role:

    You will be a confident Head of Sales, with a minimum 5 years' enterprise sales team management experience, proven track record in building new revenue, excellent presentation, and team leadership skills. You will also have vertical experience with at least one of the following within BFSI: capital markets, banking and insurance, mortgage, and lending.

    Other requirements for this role include:

    • Strong, consistent enterprise quota track record (deal size of $10 million and up) as a hunter of new logos specifically employed by midsized / large sized IT Consulting & Professional Services Companies
    • Experience includes a combination of individual contributor and team manager specifically at midsized / larger IT Consulting & Professional Services Companies
    • Strong BFSI vertical experience
    • Ability to create sales results in a complex environment
    • Well-developed negotiation, project, and account management skills
    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; tactful and respectful with others
    • Proven leadership and business acumen skills, continually strives to improve supervisory skills
    • Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization
    • Commitment to excellence and high standards, ethical, works with integrity
    • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
    • Proficient using CRM, MS Office Suite
    • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent; advanced degree is a plus

    Job role and responsibilities:

    As the Head of Sales, you will lead and coach the company's sales team in identifying, pursuing, and closing new clients to drive revenue growth across multiple verticals. The position is ultimately responsible for the sales function, and developing and implementing sales strategies and policies that help the organization meet its revenue goals.

    Other responsibilities for this role include:

    • Develop and execute strategies to expand the customer base and achieve aggressive sales targets
    • Develop and implement sales plans and forecasts for overall business development and account management
    • Track performance against expectations and modify strategies, territories, or incentive plans in response
    • Identify and generate new business with targeted prospects and large clients
    • Grow existing accounts and prospective clients to full potential and generate maximum revenue on a long-term basis
    • Develop and implement a sales action plan with objectives and strategies to increase revenue and aggressively acquire new accounts
    • Seek and create opportunities to expand business with current clients and identify further business needs
    • Develop sales documentation including but not limited to spreadsheets, correspondence, sales proposals, presentations, and internal paperwork for new customer proposals and presentations
    • Formulate the overall objectives and strategy to develop a high-value relationship within all targeted areas of the accounts
    • Include staff in planning, decision-making, facilitating and process improvement
    • Make self-available to sales staff; provide regular performance feedback; develop subordinates' skills and encourage growth
    • Foster quality focus in others; improve processes, products and services
