    Description

    Job Description:
    What are we looking for?

    Education & Professional Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in information technology, accounting, or finance from an accredited university required
    Knowledge / Experience
    Proven experience in tax technology, with a strong understanding of tax software applications and platforms, preferred.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex issues and develop effective solutions.
    Desire to leverage AI to optimize tax processes.
    Experience in data analytics systems (Alteryx, Power Query, Power BI, Tableau), preferred but not required

    Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or R, with experience in data manipulation and analysis, preferred but not required.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
    What will be your key responsibilities?


    Process Optimization:
    Analyze existing tax processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
    Develop and implement technology-driven solutions to streamline tax workflows and reduce manual intervention.
    Collaborate with tax professionals to understand their needs and requirements, tailoring technology solutions to meet their specific objectives.

    Technology Integration:
    Evaluate and select technology solutions to streamline processes and improve productivity.
    Integrate tax software applications with existing systems to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
    Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless implementation and integration of tax technology solutions.

    System Maintenance and Support:
    Provide ongoing maintenance and support for tax software applications, troubleshooting issues and resolving technical challenges.
    Monitor system performance and implement upgrades or enhancements as needed to optimize functionality.

    Intellectual Curiosity, Training and Documentation:


    Be intellectually curious in tax technical matters and partner with experienced tax professionals to learn tax law and tax accounting.

    Provide training and support to tax professionals and staff on the use of tax technology tools and platforms.

    Develop comprehensive documentation, including user guides and training materials, to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure effective utilization of technology solutions.
