As the Emerging Beverage Category Captain and a trusted advisor to many of the country's largest retailers, LAL drives the majority of the "better for you" category growth by providing services for new and established brands. The "A to Z in the beverage industry," L.A. Libations, has made a substantial impression on how brands succeed and what people drink.
    Launched in August 2020, L.A. Vibrations (LAV) is the marketing agency umbrella of parent company L.A. Libations. At L.A. Vibrations, we work with new and emerging beverage and snack brands to help launch, scale, and optimize brands, covering marketing strategy, branding, e-commerce, digital, retail, trade & field marketing.

    About the Role
    We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Shopper Marketing Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Director of Brand Experience & Retail Marketing. The Shopper Marketing Manager will spearhead the development and execution of in-store shopper marketing strategies for LAV's agency brands. In this role, you will oversee planning, executing, and evaluating shopper marketing initiatives to boost sales and elevate brand visibility in retail settings. You will work with cross-functional teams, including brand managers, sales teams, and external partners, to devise and execute impactful shopper marketing strategies.

    The ideal candidate will possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, a proactive and solution-focused mindset, comprehensive knowledge of the CPG landscape, and a passion for data analysis. The Shopper Marketing Manager must be an organized leader capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting stringent deadlines.

    Responsibilities
    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Oversee retail marketing calendars and internal trackers, including promotional activities and marketing activations, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
    • Create and manage a feedback loop with consumers and local stakeholders to capture insights and recommendations, refining marketing strategies to align with evolving market dynamics.
    • Guarantee that all marketing activities are consistent with brand guidelines and meet legal and regulatory standards.
    • Lead internal meetings, set agenda topics, provide detailed recaps, and ensure diligent follow-up.
    • Conduct in-depth market research to inform strategic decision-making about consumer preferences, local market trends, and competitive actions.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations in shopper marketing to uncover new growth opportunities.
    • Coordinate with the marketing team to execute mailings of coupons, SWAG, & POS materials effectively.

    Shopper Marketing & Campaign Building:
    • Develop and implement shopper marketing plans that align with brand objectives and meet retail partner requirements.
    • Oversee the execution of in-store promotions, displays, and other shopper marketing efforts.
    • Cultivate and manage relationships with brand partners and external vendors for the flawless execution of shopper marketing programs.
    • Lead the creation of sales presentations and marketing materials for retail partners.
    • Collaborate with brand managers to ensure shopper marketing initiatives are fully integrated into the brand strategy.
    • Analyze shopper insights, sales data, and market trends to enhance shopper marketing strategies and tactics.
    • Oversee the monitoring and reporting of shopper marketing campaign performance, including ROI analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).

    Qualifications
    • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales or a related field
    • 3-5 years of experience in a marketing management role, preferably at an agency or in a corporate setting.
    • 3-5 years in CPG or food/beverage industry
    • Deep understanding of the food CPG retailer/customer shopper marketing landscape.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Exceptional creative, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
    • Proficient in business tools (MS Office and Google Suites)
