Hybrid Senior Staff Accountant
Financial Talent Group has partnered with a world-renowned non-profit organization headquartered in Colorado Springs, CO to present top talent for the newly created Senior Staff Accountant opportunity. The Senior Accountant will serve as an integral part of the accounting department managing the general ledger, assisting with month-end and year-end close, preparing monthly budget forecasts, managing monthly accounting for the organizations grants. The ideal Senior Accountant will have three or more years of full-cycling accounting experience, possess a bachelors degree in accounting with a preference towards a CPA, proficiency with technology, great interpersonal skills and adaptability. What you will be doing as the Senior Accountant:
General Ledger
Assists with annual audit documentation and requests.
Prepares Garden City Company quarterly dividend payments and updates shareholder information.
Completes special accounting projects and analysis, as required, and other duties as assigned.

Act as backup to Accounts Receivable function and reviews deposits and cash receipts prepared by Accounting Specialist.
