    Description


    Hoelting & Company, Inc., a public accounting firm, was organized in 1980 and is proud to be a local independent firm, serving clients located primarily along the Colorado Front Range.

    We're seeking an experienced staff accountant to join our growing audit team.

    At our firm, you will use cutting edge technology while working directly with our clients, and will be mentored by some of the top CPA professionals in Colorado Springs.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

    2 to 4 years public accounting experience preferred.

    CPA license or in process.

    Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

    Detail orientated with the ability to effectively manage time.

    Strong computer skills, including Excel and Word.

    Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.


    Responsibilities:
    Understand professional standards and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

    Prepare workpapers for audits, reviews and other engagements.

    Assume responsibility for unaudited financial statement engagements or segments of audits under the supervision of more experienced staff.

    Prepare financial statements.

    Prepare individual and corporate tax returns.

    Maintain a positive attitude and clear communications with co-workers and clients.'

    Work In-Office and Remotely

    Pay:
    $75, $95,000.00 per year
