    Description

    General Job Description:


    Responsible for general accounting activity, which include preparing and processing all accounting documentations, postings, as well as providing office support in an efficient and professional manner.


    Major Duties and Responsibilities include:

    • Assist with financial audits
    • Prepare monthly account reconciliation
    • Reviews accounts receivable reports weekly and initiates payment inquiries for overdue bills
    • Receive and record customer payments
    • Reviews accounts payable reports weekly and assists controller in paying bills
    • Calculates and records expenses
    • Facilitate and complete monthly, quarterly, and yearly close procedures
    • Collects and inputs vendor and customer data in NetSuite
    • Answers phone and responds to all vendor and customer inquiries in a courteous manner
    • Sales/Use tax research and reporting
    • Other duties may be assigned
    Requirements

    Key Competencies & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance and/or equivalent accounting experience.
    • Highly detail oriented and organized in work
    • Strong written and oral communication skills with a customer service focus
    • Ability to meet assigned deadlines and operate independently
    • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management
    • Strong understanding of accounting theory and AR/AP knowledge
    • NetSuite, Office 365, Excel, Word
