Under the supervision of the A/R Supervisor, the A/R Billing Rep I is responsible for providing timely and efficient follow-up with all payer types for all unpaid claims, consistent with the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health Medical Foundation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years experience working in healthcare Rev Cycle or a Professional Medical Office.
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of physician billing regulations.
- Understanding of professional claims and billing procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of computers.
- Demonstrated proficiency in email systems, internet and office software applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
-3 years experience working in healthcare Rev Cycle or a Professional Medical Office.
- 1 year experience with IDX Practice management system and Cerner EHR.
- Knowledge of Google Suite.
