    04th April, 2024Our client is the global leader in end-to-end sampling and manufacturing, they help brands reimagine ways to get closer to their customers.

    Together we are searching for a Senior Corporate Accountant
    • Consolidations to join their team at their Midtown, NY location.
    This is a full-time, permanent position offering a hybrid schedule: 3 days in office and 2 days work from home, Compensation $115k. Responsibilities
    • Assist in month end, quarter end, and year end closing activities including the preparation of the management report and accompanying schedules.
    Prepare and review Group and other legal entity financial statements managed by the Corporate Finance team to ensure transactions and consolidations are properly reflected and per U.S. GAAP.

    For overseas entities, review and understand the differences between statutory financials and financials reported to corporate, and coordinate with corporate tax to ensure these differences are properly accounted for in the tax provision/filings.

    Prepare and record consolidation journal entries and reconciliations for month-end closing. Review balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting submissions from subsidiaries. Completion of requests from external consultants such as Auditors, Tax consultants, and other financial advisors. Support cash forecasting processes and contribute to the global cash management strategy. Assisting in the design, modification, implementation, and/or maintenance of accounting systems to ensure adequate recognition of financial transactions. Identify control weaknesses and participate in recommending remedial changes to tighten and enhance controls to the Corporate Controller. Conduct accounting research and analyses on an ad hoc basis. Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent from an accredited university required.
    Consolidation & reporting experience. Big Four or leading public accounting background preferred. 4-6 years of total work experience. CPA preferred.
