CalPERS' Financial Office is seeking innovative and forward-thinking team members to join the unit responsible for synthesizing, analyzing, and producing monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc financial management reports for distribution to internal and external stakeholders.
Under the supervision of the Financial Accountant II, the incumbent will assist in preparing, analyzing, and interpreting of financial statements and facilitate in delivery to all end users.
Duties include but are not limited to preparing Basic Financial Statements and Comparative Trial Balances, performing trend analyses, researching the maintenance, and reporting of accounting records, analyzing appropriateness of transactions. The incumbent will assist in preparing supplementary schedules included in the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR).
