- Process accounts receivable transactions including invoicing, posting payments, and reconciling customer accounts.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
- Communicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and answer inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist with month-end close processes and provide support for audits as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to address customer issues and improve billing processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelors degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- Proven experience working in accounts receivable or related financial roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in relevant accounting software (e.g., MS Nav/Dynamics, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with collections activities and knowledge of credit policies and procedures is a plus.
