    United Support Services, Inc., founded in 2003, is an innovative engineering and technology business headquartered in San Diego, CA has an exciting new opportunity and is currently looking to add a Shipping Receiving Clerk to our Warehouse team to support our facility on the Naval Air Station Lemoore in California. This position will report to the Project Manager and will be responsible for performing various warehouse functions.     **Must be able to pass a government background check to obtain access to a military base.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Verify that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents; ensuring that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles, and preparing and keeping records of goods shipped, e.g., manifests, bills of lading.
    • Verify the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records, checking for damaged goods, insuring that goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments within the establishment, and preparing and keeping records of goods received.
    • Identifies, examines, classifies, accepts, rejects, and disposes of material as per DLA regulations.
    • Load material on and off of skids, pallets, and stands.
    • Prepare basic reports as required.
    • Operate MHE as assigned.
    • Count, weigh, record data, apply tags, and labels.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Required Qualifications:
    • High school degree or equivalent.
    • 1 year of experience utilizing a Warehouse Management System or performing warehouse duties.
    • Must be able to obtain license to use MHE within 30 days of selection.
    • Must be detail oriented and organized.
    The physical job requirement involves, but is not limited to, walking, reaching, bending-over, grasping, kneeling, concentration in the presence of loud noise, lifting items up to 50 lbs., traversing narrow passageways, climbing ladders/stairs, and operating in shop environment where mechanic equipment is operated, and some pieces of equipment have exposed moving components.
