    Job Description:


    As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting the overall financial health of the company.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.

    Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data.

    Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits.

    Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

    Verify discrepancies and resolve clients billing issues.

    Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.

    Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.

    Conduct credit checks on new and potential customers.

    Assist in month-end closing.

    Communicate with customers via phone and email to address any payment-related inquiries.


    Qualifications:
    Proven 2 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role.

    Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

    Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.

    High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

    Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.

    Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.

    Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.

    Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.

    Strong organizational and time-management skills.

    Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
