    Description

    Job Description:As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a critical role in managing the company's accounts receivable function and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding invoices. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Generating and sending invoices to customers in a timely manner
    • Recording cash receipts and reconciling customer accounts
    • Following up on past due accounts and communicating with customers regarding payment status
    • Resolving billing discrepancies and reconciling accounts
    • Processing credit memos and adjustments as needed
    • Providing support to customers and internal stakeholders regarding billing inquiries and disputes
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable aging reports
    • Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities
    • Collaborating with the sales and customer service teams to address customer concerns and improve collections processes

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
    • 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related role
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite)
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues
    • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
