Position Title WESM Production Specialist Job Type Staff Position Information

WESM, on the campus of the University of Maryland Eastern, invites applicants to apply for the position of Production Specialist.

This is a full-time, exempt position with benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities

Produce stations Id's, underwriting, membership and other spots for broadcast.
Assist in the production of new programming for broadcast.
Maintain and oversee the digital streaming presence and online repository of locally produced programming.
Scriptwriting
Assist in the management of the ENCO automation system.
Supervise and mentor production interns.
Perform other related duties as assigned

Classification Arts, Design, Entertainment, Sports, and Media Occupations Required Qualifications

BA or BS degree.
Demonstrated production experience
ENCO Automations experience
Must be skilled in the use of Adobe Audition, Pro Tools or associate DAW platforms

Preferred Qualifications Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Demonstrated Audio Production skills
Skilled in spot and program production.
Skilled in scriptwriting
Demonstrated organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
