Description

Duties:

The Traffic Control Device Specialist is responsible for managing and evaluating all programs for sign fabrication, sign installation, and pavement markings.

This position is also responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising programs of traffic control, inspection and investigation.


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma.
  • Five years experience in traffic control operations, 3 years must have been actively engaged in the installation and maintenance of traffic control devices,
  • Two years of experience in supervising and leading traffic control operations.
  • Three years of experience in the manufacturing of signs.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word, Cored Draw sign production software and in the use of electronic vinyl cutter/plotter.
  • Experience in reading blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Familiar in the use and set up of portable variable message signs.
  • A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug testing

Pay:
$42,718.00 per year
