Sanitation Specialist

Location:
Salisbury, MD

Pay:
$15.50/hr to $25.77/hr (depending on experience)

Experience:1 year of experience in production or janitorial experience preferred

Education:
High school diploma or GED

Type:
Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule:
Day Shift, start time of 1 p.m.

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a
Sanitation Specialist to join a growing and dynamic team

Assures that products are manufactured in a clean and sanitary environment that complies with federal, state and PCNA guidelines
Internally and externally clean and sanitize processing equipment
Clean nonprocessing equipment
Obtain samples for microanalysis
Operate Microblend for morning startup
Maintain sanitation logs and report to document plant and equipment cleaning
Removes trash from areas inside the filling enclosure and workstations

Position Requirements:

Basic math skills and chemical safety knowledge preferred
Good Manufacturing Practices background preferred
Must be able to successfully complete forklift certification
Good written and oral communication
Ability to read and understand chemical use instructions and precautions
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to work in a team environment
