    Job Description

    Work within Meta's task system

    First point of contact for break fix technicians

    Work with xfn partners and vendors to support physical building network infrastructure.

    Responsible for assisting with projects (retrofits, new process documentation, etc.)

    Understand and debug hardware and Linux OS and Windows related issues.

    Skills and Requirements

    Datacenter knowledge

    Experience implementing technology.

    Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

    Strong computer skills especially with the Microsoft Office Suite.

    Strong/proactive work ethics

    Strong Oral and written communication skills

    Experience understanding and communicating technical information to non-experts. * 2+ years experience in a research environment.

    2+ years of experience in a data center or related field.

    Knowledge of Linux and server hardware support.

    Knowledge of networks and related hardware support.

    Must have basic knowledge of networking and troubleshooting

    Must have a background in testing physical ethernet connections.

    Knowledge of compute services (K8r, Slurm, OpenCue) is a plus null
