This acquisition represents Pures largest to date and our deeper expansion into the fast-growing market for multi-cloud data services to support Kubernetes and containers.

    Position Overview:

    SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

    As an Industry Marketing Manager (SLED), you will work arm in arm with sales and partners to drive integrated marketing campaigns that take prospects through a relevant and engaging customer journey. This position will focus on driving high impact campaigns and programs, continually testing and evaluating success and making necessary adjustments to the plan. The goal is to generate high quality pipeline, stimulate acceleration of the sales cycle and build/strengthen customer relationships and preference for the Pure Storage brand. You will be a trusted subject matter expert, bringing strategy and industry expertise to fruition. At Pure, we win and lose as a team and this role is foundational to the success of SLED, our fastest growing vertical.

    Responsibilities:
    • Develop and execute integrated campaigns, demand generation programs and events that drive demand across the buyers journey in SLED.
    • Be the primary industry marketing resource for the SLED Sales and Regional Partner teams.
    • Collaborate closely with sales, supporting pipeline and bookings goals and ensuring alignment between marketing strategies and business objectives.
    • Leverage global campaigns, working with corporate marketing teams to customize campaigns as appropriate to ensure they align to solution priorities and drive relevance and impact to the target audience.
    • Manage SLED-focused campaigns across various channels such as digital, events, and social media.
    • Manage social presence on LinkedIn, representing the SLED segment.
    • Work with partner account managers to develop marketing plans and activities with key regional partners and alliances to achieve scale and enhance market reach/impact.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on industry trends, opportunities, challenges and best practices in SLED marketing.
    • Foster cross-team collaboration among all sales and marketing stakeholders, including Field Marketing, Digital, Programs, Inside Sales, Operations, the Commercial Line of Business and external agencies.
    • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to inform decision-making and optimize campaign effectiveness.
    • Demonstrate operational excellence in managing marketing programs, procurement processes and budget (regional marketing and MDF).
    Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience in the SLED vertical.
    • Proactive self-starter, strategic and analytical thinker with exceptional execution and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Track record of creating integrated marketing plans to gain new customers and build repeat business.
    • Experience co-marketing with partners and alliances.
    • Customer-first, always.
    • Data-driven. Experience in using data and analytics to guide marketing strategy and measure success.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build business cases as needed to influence executive decisions.
    • Proven ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of management, peers, and external agencies, while paying close attention to detail and meeting critical deadlines.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
    • Excellence in budget and project management.
    • Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, Allocadia, Google Workspace preferred
    • The candidate must be willing and able to travel within the US.
    Pay Range:
    USD $172, USD $259,000.00 /Yr.

    Pay Transparency Statement:

    Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.

    This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
