- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed regional sales targets.
- Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing sales team, ensuring they achieve individual and regional sales goals.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key clients, including IT Managers, CIOs, and procurement officers, providing solutions and prototypes tailored to their needs.
- Collaborate closely with the National VP of Sales and Strategic Initiatives to align regional strategies with national goals.
- Contribute regional insights and feedback to inform national sales strategies and product development.
- Monitor regional market trends and competitor activity, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Ensure the sales team effectively utilizes data transformation, AI, and CRM technologies to enhance sales efforts and customer interactions.
- Provide regular reports on regional sales results and forecasts for future performance to the National VP and executive team.
- Travel within the region to connect with team members, clients, and potential customers.
- Proven experience as a Regional Vice President of Sales or similar leadership role in the IT services and staffing industry.
- Strong experience working with IT Managers, CIOs, and procurement officers in providing IT solutions and prototypes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve sales objectives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of the SLED market and regional business dynamics.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Availability to travel as needed within the region.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
