Job Summary
The Landscape Maintenance Account Manager position is responsible for day-to-day sales and customer service operations of the Company for the Maintenance Division.
The Account Manager is the primary point of contact for an assigned book, ($800k to $1.2M) of business responsible for overall site quality, achieving sales goals and renewal goals.
This position will also help with estimates, contract renewals, marketing campaigns, as well as help with customer service needs as they arise.
Performance measurables for this position will be client renewals, new contract sales, and enhancement sales.Essential Requirements, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor's Degree in a pertinent business-related field
5 years of Sales and Customer Service experience
1-2 years of Green Industry/Landscape experience
Experience working with Commercial and Industrial Customers
Proven experience as a Field Sales Manager or similar
Capacity to sustain consequential working relationships
Motivated to grow and develop new business with an arsenal of brilliant sales techniques that you are eager to share
Proficient in team collaboration with excellence in verbal and written communication
Understanding of Landscape related mathematical functions, including measuring spaces, configuring elevations, and calculating material quantities and specifications
Knowledge of specific materials, plants, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various
landscape/construction
practices
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Attention to detail is critical to maintain high quality of care
Takes initiative and proactive approach to improve performance
Assumes responsibility, authority, and accountability for all activities
Ability to develop budgets and job estimates
Proficient in use of computers and software applications, smart phones, or data-enabled devices
Must be a highly energetic, personable, and punctual self-starter
Collaboration experience but comfortable working alone or without supervision
Must be able to display a positive "can do" attitude at all times, especially under tight deadlines
Displays unquestionable ethics, integrity, responsibility, and dependability
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Ability to work in an outdoor environment in sometimes harsh weather conditions, sometimes near heavy equipment and construction activities
Ability to work flexible working hours to accommodate customer appointments and meetings
Able to pass a background check in accordance with state and federal laws
Valid driver's license and ability to be insured on company policy
