- Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's human resource function and performance
- Coach and develop a high performing management team and drive employee retention, development and overall performance.
- Provide proactive expert advice and coaching to management and employees on employment and performance issues when appropriate.
- Participate in the development of plans and programs as a strategic partner with a specific focus of the impact on employees and translate the strategic agenda and tactical business plans into HR programs
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning of new programs/strategies and regulatory changes that will impact the attraction, motivation, development and retention of employees
- Develop human resource planning models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps
- Develop workforce planning strategies, succession planning, and programs to identify key talent for the organization
- Understands and monitors workforce demographics and stay always aware of company talent needs
- Responsible for conducting termination reviews with management to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, in addition to applicable HR laws and regulations
- Responsible for creating and updating all job descriptions for employees and recruiting to attract and retain quality candidates
- Review and update compensation program(s) to drive employee performance and retention
- Ensure compliance with all employment law and HR related laws and regulations. Including DOL, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO/AA, and DOT Drug and Alcohol testing. Provide appropriate training and resources to managers and employees for compliance.
- Partner with Corporate HR in developing and implementing initiatives and strategies as determined by Superior
- Develop appropriate policies and programs for effective management of the people resources of the company
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or other business-related degree
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Human Resources management role within the oil and gas industry is preferable
- An experienced leader and human resource professional with 7-10 years of Human Resources experience
