    Description

    Taylor | Anderson LLP is a nationally recognized litigation defense firm seeking an experienced legal secretary/assistant for an exciting opportunity to be part of its Reno, Nevada office. This position will support a team of partners, associates, and paralegals. The candidate should be able to work well under pressure, remain flexible, be proactive, resourceful, and efficient. This person must also have law firm experience and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and follow-through are a must.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    Preparing detailed correspondence, legal documents, and forms

    Document review, revision, and finalization

    EFiling documents with various court systems

    Heavy calendar management

    Interacting professionally with attorney, clients, and courts via phone and email

    Answering, screening, and placing calls

    Calendar coordination

    Travel coordination

    Preparation of attorneys' expense reports

    Time entry for attorneys

    Billing coordination (including review of prebills, revisions, and finalizations)

    Vendor invoice processing

    Scanning incoming documents and mail to case files

    Other duties as required

    Requirements:

    Excellent organizational skills

    Strong attention to detail

    Ability to follow instruction effectively and meet deadlines

    MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook and Excel)

    Experience with legal billing and document management software preferred

    Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment

    Minimum of 3 years legal secretarial experience, preferably in litigation
