We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Physically able to handle packages up to 100 lbs
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Paid by Employer)
• Must be willing to submit to a background check
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Have dependable transportation to and from the Job location.
• Complete logs and reports
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Skills

• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
• Valid professional driver's license
• Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations
• High school degree

Schedule

:

• 10 hour shift

Start time 8 am to 6:30 pm

• Rotating Schedule (4 Day's On, 4 Day's Off)
• Day shift
• Holidays
• Weekend availability
• Delivery Area: Compton, Gardena & LA

Delivery Driver REQUIREMENTS

:

-
Be 21 years of age or older (IS A MUST)

:

Valid CA Driver License Card in Hand (No CDL required)

:

-
Legally able to work in the US (valid work permit acceptable)

:

Consent to Drug Test & Pass Background Check

:

-
Pass a Background screening (NO Felonies etc.).

:

Clean DMV Record (No DUI's, Points or NO recent license suspension)

:

• Has a positive attitude
• Available to work weekends and holidays
• Reliable
• Military experience highly desired (Not Required)
• Able to deliver in various weather conditions

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Able to lift and push (Up to 150 Lbs.) packages
• Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
• Able to get in and out of Stepvan and walk up and down stairs through your shift
• Scan & load packages into vehicle daily within 30 minutes or less
• Assist other delivery drivers (If needed)
• Delivery all packages safely and efficiently
• Able to follow instructions and solve problems independently
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Load and unload packages to be delivered
