    Operations Coordinator

    Organization Type: Non-profit, Faith-Based (Christian)

    Position Type: Full-Time; Non-Exempt

    Department: Operations

    Location: Atlanta, Georgia

    Director Report: Director of Operations

    Hours: 40 hours per week/Salaried

    About the Organization:

    Mission: In the 21st century, far too many people are trapped in the darkness of sex trafficking and homelessness. We are on the frontlines every day rescuing these individuals and preventing the most vulnerable in society, our children, from falling victim.

    Purpose: To be ambassadors for Jesus Christ, with God making His appeal through us for the world to be reconciled to Him.

    Job Summary:

    The Operations Coordinator reports to the Director of Operations and helps to procure in-kind donations and manage distribution of these items amongst all Frontline Response departments and our partners. Additionally, the Operations Coordinator assists in general operational components of various aspects of Frontline Response.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Passionate about the purpose of Frontline Response
    • Management experience preferred
    • Inventory and warehouse management
    • Organized and detail oriented
    • Flexibility and willingness to work a blend of both morning and evening hours

    Position- Specific Responsibilities:

    Food Pantry Coordination

    • Manage all pickups and deliveries (Trader Joes, Midwest Foodbank, Second Helpings, Atlanta Community Food Bank)
    • Supervise the warehouse assistant and assist in food pickups as needed
    • Oversee all elements of the Frontline Community Food Pantry
    • Continue to grow in-kind donation and develop relationships with partners
    • Assist with procurement and distribution of specialty needs for program departments
    • Reduce waste by coordinating with partners and other organizations
    • Ensure cleanliness and organization of warehouse and storage spaces

    Programming

    • Function as the Outreach Operations Coordinator for all weekly outreaches
    • Conduct emergency client transportation as needed
    • Coordinate operational aspects of the seasonal Warming Center

    Overall Operations

    • Assist in general operations projects as needed
    • Maintain cleanliness of vehicle fleet

    Skills:

    • Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and living conditions, specifically those in crisis.
    • Good at time management, documentation and organizational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Task-oriented, non-judgmental, clear sense of boundaries
    • Ability to work in a variety of settings and able to be understanding, sensitive, and appropriate in all situations
