Description
Calabrio is seeking a Compensation Manager to join our Sales Operations team As the Compensation Manager, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and managing the sales incentive compensation programs and policies to drive sales performance and motivate our sales team.
What you'll be doing:
Drive the annual compensation planning process through thoughtful analysis and consultation with key business partners which includes the ELT, HR, Finance and Sales leaders.
Manage all incentive compensation calculations and payouts globally.
Administer the sales compensation plans, including tracking and processing commission payments via our CMS
Maintain all policies, procedures and controls for incentive compensation plans, SPIFFs and bonus plans.
Work with Revenue Operations and Finance leadership to develop accrual and annual budgets on incentive compensation expenses.
Collaborate with key business partners to establish and maintain accurate sales quotas and territory assignments
Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and competitiveness of the sales compensation programs and make recommendations for improvements
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation
Partner with Sales Operations to ensure accurate and timely data collection and reporting
Provide guidance and support for all compensation-related inquiries
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in sales compensation management
What we're looking for:
Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in incentive compensation – plan delivery, process management, and administration.
Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and drivers
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Experience with sales compensation software and tools
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Strong communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of industry benchmarks in plan creation and compensation benchmarks.
Ability to build relationships to influence and collaborate across departments in order to achieve objectives.
5+ years experience in designing, developing, and communicating compensation related programs
Proficiency in using Excel and other data analysis tools
Experience with sales compensation management software, CaptivateIQ or similar CMS
Strong knowledge of sales performance metrics and quota setting
Excellent organizational and project management skills
