- Develop, implement, and manage global compensation strategies that align with business objectives and drive sales performance.
- Design and administer sales incentive plans and bonus schemes to motivate and reward sales teams, ensuring fairness across regions and business units.
- Conduct regular evaluations of sales compensation programs to assess effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and HR, to ensure alignment of compensation strategies with overall business goals and objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, market trends, and regulatory requirements related to compensation and sales incentives, and proactively recommend adjustments as needed.
- Manage the communication and training efforts related to compensation programs, ensuring understanding and buy-in from key stakeholders.
- Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition teams to ensure consistency in compensation practices, including job leveling and salary benchmarking, across the organization.
- Provide guidance and support to regional compensation teams, serving as a subject matter expert on sales compensation matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in compensation analysis, with a minimum of 5 years focusing on sales incentive plans and bonus schemes, preferably in a global or multi-national organization.
- Strong understanding of compensation practices, sales performance metrics, and incentive plan design.
- Proficiency in data analysis and modeling, with advanced skills in Excel or other analytical tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred.
- Experience with compensation software and systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday) is a plus.
