    Description
    Quality Assurance Manager

    Location:
    Salt Lake City, UT

    Reports to:
    VP of Quality

    Compensation:
    $100K - $120K+


    Requirements & Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Manager:7+ years of quality management experience in a food and beverage or supplement manufacturing/co-manufacturing environment.

    Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or food science, preferred.
    Strong SQF (Safe Quality Food) system experience; practitioner certification preferred.
    Demonstrable leadership skills and cross functional collaboration ability.
    Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
    Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication capabilities.
    Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
    Bilingual English/Spanish, highly desirable.
    Oversee quality control and food safety efforts to ensure FDA and SQF regulatory compliance.
    Review, verify, and sustain SQF and HACCP (hazard analysis and critical control points) systems, validating testing and assurance compliance.
    Collaborate cross functionally to oversee inspection activities, establish testing checkpoints, and enforce quality requirements.
    Document quality information, including preparing and maintaining reports and manuals.
    Facilitate customer complaint resolution and reduction efforts.
    Initiate corrective action where needed to improve quality and compliance.
    Support continuous improvement initiatives to achieve plant operations, safety, and quality goals.
