    Senior Fund Accountant

    Greenwich, CT (Hybrid, 3 days in)

    $100-130k + bonus

    We are seeking a Senior Fund Accountant for our Greenwich based client who will work collaboratively within the accounting team, contributing to departmental goals and financial statement preparation. This role reports directly to the Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Fund Accountant to contribute to a dynamic team and thrive in a hybrid work environment.

    Responsibilities:
    • Prepare quarterly workpapers, financial statements, including footnote disclosures, and other investor reports for approximately 40 Real Estate Investment funds.
    • Support fund audits by providing necessary information to auditors.
    • Enter tax entries into the general ledger for funds, corporate, and shell entities.
    • Prepare quarterly/annual GAAP projections for certain funds.
    • Evaluate annual impairment calculations for the funds.
    • Perform an annual review of fund 1099s.
    • Prepare General Partner tax returns.
    • Handle other ad-hoc reports and investor requests as needed.
    Qualifications:
    • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (3.0+ GPA).
    • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience required; Investment or real estate experience preferred; CPA or Public Accounting experience is a plus; Familiarity with partnership tax returns preferred.
    • Skills & Certifications: Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite, proficient in Excel; Strong work ethic; Hands-on and flexible; Able to handle a high volume of transactions; Works well under pressure and deadlines; Strong writing skills; Eager to learn; Ability to work late during busy season.
