- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of fund transactions, including cash, positions, and P&L.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including portfolio managers, traders, and compliance, to address accounting issues and ensure accurate reporting.
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards and procedures.
- Participate in audits and regulatory examinations, providing support as needed.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in fund accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics from an accredited university.
- CPA
- 4-6 years of related experience in fund accounting or financial services.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows operating system.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment, with strong prioritization and multitasking skills.
- General knowledge of securities and derivatives.
- Basic knowledge of Bloomberg terminal and VBA programming is a plus.
- Understanding of fund accounting principles and practices is preferred.
