Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is seeking an IT Field Support Technician to join our team in Garland, TX. In this role, you will provide manufacturing facilities with networking, scanning, hardware, software, desktop, and user support. You will work independently and support multiple sites.

You Will:
Be responsible for Level 2 help desk support Provide technical support for hardware, software, scanning, networking and infrastructureComplete maintenance repairs of laptops, PCs, VRC's and handheld scanning devicesEnsure computer backup systems are operational maintained/monitoredMaintain wireless infrastructure at remote locationsProvide training support to users

You Have:

Associate's degree is required, a Bachelor's degree is preferred3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a help desk environmentExperience supporting a manufacturing environment preferredExperience driving aerial/boom lift preferredUnderstanding of SQL, WAN, LAN and Networking concepts requiredCisco experience is preferredExperience in SAP is preferredAbility to travel 35-40%Plastipak is an Equal Opportunity EmployerIn order to process your job application, Plastipak collects and stores the personal information that you submit via this website.
