    $150,000-$170,000

    Company
    Our Client is a dynamic renewable developer with over 6 GW of Solar and Storage projects across the US.

    They are looking for an engineer with significant AutoCAD experience and utility scale solar layout optimization capabilities to manage engineering projects.

    Role

    We are looking for a Senior Development Engineer with experience working on Utility-Scale renewable energy projects and the ability to understand major development risks that impact the land's buildability and come up with engineering solutions, with economic outcome.


    The role will require strong development engineering expertise in order to manage projects as well as overseeing and supporting the design and development of renewable energy projects.


    The right candidate will have:
    Previous experience working with a utility scale renewable energy developer (PV or BESS).
    Experience with managing projects in a technical senior/lead engineering position.
    Experience with the design of utility-scale solar and layout optimization for development projects.
    The ability to properly manage 3rd party consultants.

    Skills/ Experience
    5+ years' experience in a renewable engineering position for utility-scale solar and/or storage.
    Proven engineering project management skills, in a senior development engineering role.
    Expertise in AutoCAD, and strong skills in PVsyst/solar and storage management platforms.
    Technical background in engineering, with strong knowledge of electrical design, codes and standards.
    Ability to provide engineering solutions, accounting for development risks, permitting requirements and construction concerns.
    Professional Engineer, PE. (Preferred)
