Description
Business Development Executive Orange, CA (in-person & hybrid)
The Business Development Representative is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, developing, and closing originations with the end user and vendor partner client opportunities. Other duties as assigned may include processing transactions from existing partner relationships and leading in researching and developing new markets.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
? Drive, manage, and maintain a consistent pipeline of new end-user client and vendor partner leasing opportunities.
? Prospect end user and vendor partner prospects using tools such as phone, email, Microsoft Teams, and in-person meetings.
? Research and target potential clients using Zoom Info, LinkedIn, and Westlaw UCC filings.
? Learn to communicate our solution, value proposition and TCO analytics effectively to the potential end-user and partner prospects.
? Learn to structure our core lease offerings based on deal landscape, competition, asset classes, and client credit quality.
? Effectively utilize, track, and report all Ring Central and Leasepath business development efforts.
? Deliver presentation decks to end users with Team Leader and Marketing team support, via Teams or in- person meetings.
? Process flow opportunities from existing partner relationships.
? Manage personally generated clients and drive additional lease business with them across all asset classes.
Minimum Qualifications
? Minimum of two (2) years of outbound end-user prospecting experience required in equipment finance or technology, material handling, warehouse automation or healthcare sales.
? Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills.
? Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
? Solid organizational and time management skills.
? Demonstrated ability to work well independently with minimal supervision.
? Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
? Equipment finance experience selling directly to end-user clients.
? Proficient at prospecting and driving new business opportunities.
? Solid PowerPoint and in-person presentation skills.
? Skilled in Microsoft-based CRM.
? Four-year college degree (in business, finance, or related field) preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements
? Business travel & client entertainment as required.
Base Pay: $70,000 $90,000
In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package includes up-front commissions, new Master Lease bonuses, end-of-lease commissions, and potential for salary increases based on quota achievement and other performance factors.
Starting salary may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, first-year booked originations estimates, prior performance, and business sector.
