    Job Duties:

    Set vision, strategy, and roadmap for re-engaging and improving the experience for hundreds of millions of Pinners each month leveraging Pinterest's existing recommendation systems as well as innovative new technologies.

    Support the team in understanding user pain points and requirements, develop strong roadmaps and execute. Work cross-functionally with engineers, data science, legal, and operations to support relevance improvements for underserved users. Partner with the Pinner experience teams to extend Pinterest's core value prop in seamless experience loops for Pinners. Communicate team strategy upward and outward internally to ensure the support the team needs to be successful.

    Work as a key member of the Activation Foundation to create tools to help new and low engaged users receive Pinterest's personalized recommendations.

    Telecommuting is permitted.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.


    Special Skill Requirements:
    (1) Experiment Design; (2) Stakeholder Management (3) Product Execution (4) Technical Expertise (5) Product Strategy (6) Data visualization; (7) Machine Learning; (8) Customer Centricity; and (9) Requirements Gathering and Roadmapping. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is permitted.

    Salary:
    $210, $254,024.00 per annum.

    At Pinterest we believe the workplace should be equitable, inclusive, and inspiring for every employee. In an effort to provide greater transparency, we are sharing the base salary range for this position. The position is also eligible for equity.

    Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.
