    Accounts Payable Specialist

    Middleby Marshall

    Responsibilities:
    Managing Accounts Payable processes from voucher to check run.
    Ensuring accurate allocation to appropriate accounting periods, companies, and G/L accounts.
    Enforcing compliance with company procedures for purchase orders while processing payments for vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
    Collaborating on the development of an accounts payable manual and continually refining policies and procedures.
    Serving as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and issue resolution.
    Reconciling vendor statements and following up on outstanding invoices.
    Completing month-end balance sheet reconciliations and related journal entries.
    Preparing and distributing year-end 1099 forms.
    Assisting external auditors and other stakeholders with Accounts Payable requests.
    Acting as the primary contact for ERP system upgrades.
    Supporting special projects and management/divisional needs.

    Requirements:
    Associate's degree required.
    Three to five years of similar Accounts Payable experience in a corporate accounting department.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
    A/S400 experience is a plus.
    Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
    Self-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
    Adherence to regulations, policies, and procedures.
    Demonstrated work ethic, initiative, and integrity within a team environment.
    Reliability in attendance and self-motivation.
    Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
