- Responsible for the setting up and tearing down of Ragnar's On-site Partnership Activations at each race:
- Execute experiences on behalf of Ragnar and our partners to enhance participant engagement:
- Managing all aspects of on-site activation on behalf of Ragnar and our partners:
- Greeting and interacting with our participants in a positive manner:
- Participating in pre-event and post-event meetings and debriefs, including debriefing with your manager
- Assisting with the setup, tear down, and execution of Glamping, Road Crew, or Ragnar on-site store when assigned. We are one team
- Must have flexibility in schedule to travel to at least 4 events in 2024 (typically April-October) Travel includes 4-6 days at a time (Wednesday or Thursday through Sunday)
- Miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned

- This is a physically demanding role. This role is required to spend long hours managing a large outdoor event. The role requires the safe operation Box Trucks, and utility carts. The role requires the safe operation of power/hand tools, construction of simple structures, and the ability to transport event equipment (up to 50lbs). To complete the essential functions this role must be able to communicate with co-workers in spaces with moderate to loud levels of volume. The role also requires the use of vision in various settings (such as but not limited to close, distance, color, depth, and peripheral vision). At Ragnar, we have built a premiere series of road and trail running adventures. We are excited about the progress we've made over the past 20 years and are just scratching the surface of our potential. We have built a coast-to-coast relay series, our own technology platform, dabbled in virtual events and partnered with some amazing brands along the way. Here at Ragnar, we are a passionate and scrappy team coming together from a wide range of backgrounds to solve incredibly complex problems and deliver amazing experiences.
We are looking for Brand Ambassador/Event Activation Staff to join our team. As a Brand Ambassador/Event Activation Staff, you will be representing Ragnar and our partners at our road and trail running events. You will help build out/set up amazing on-site activations, interact with our participants, and assist our event partners. Your main responsibilities will be to improve the overall event experience (both for event participants and our partners), setup event activations, promote and educate on behalf of Ragnar and our partners, build brand recognition/awareness, and demo out products.
This job is all travel (so bring your camera), you will not be in an office setting. All our events fall on weekends, and you must be able to work long hours during events. Employees in this position must have flexibility in their schedule to travel to at least 4 events in 2024 and must be a current resident of one of the following states: UT, ID, OR, CO, AZ, MN, ME, MI, TN, FL, OH, WI, CT, AL, NC, NV, NJ, or PA.

What you will be working on:
- Transporting event equipment/fixtures/displays (up to 50 lbs.)
- Packing and inventorying partnership product
- Loading trailer(s) with equipment and product
- Coordinate and conduct on-site KT taping sessions to provide injury prevention support and assistance to participants.
- Facilitate stretching and rollout sessions during the event to promote participant recovery and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with participants, partners, and event staff to ensure clarity and coordination throughout the activation process.
- Collaborate with manger to develop and implement innovative activation strategies that align with Ragnar's brand and objectives.
- Share all results and feedback with manager to ensure we improve activation strategies.
- Contribute to the development of new activations throughout the year to further engage participants and enhance the overall Ragnar experience.
- Please note that this is not an exhaustive list, and additional activations will be added over time to continually enhance participant engagement and event experiences.
- Assisting on-site partners
- Overseeing onsite lead generation/ capture
- Taking photos throughout the weekend of runner and partner interaction and sharing with the social team
- Building consumer trust and increasing brand awareness
- Driving retail sales while providing attendees with product knowledge and education
- Tracking and reporting on all activations, including inventory reporting and recording customer feedback and relaying that to the manager
- Attending training sessions to familiarize yourself with Ragnar and our partners
- Creating a fun and positive experience (e.g., assisting with contest/games, cheering on participants)
