We are currently searching for an enthusiastic Growth Marketing Manager that is committed to identifying growth opportunities and developing strategies to increase our market share.
Do you fit this bill? Then consider joining Team UMCU.The Growth Marketing Manager will be responsible for providing real-life customer, competitor and market data research and insights to UMCU web, brand and lending product teams, as well as running A/B tests to improve conversion rates.
They will collaborate with stakeholders within the department and within the organization to identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to increase market share.
The Growth Marketing Manager will manage the entire member life-cycle, including assistance with product development, go-to-market product launches, new member acquisition, activation, cross-selling, retention and engagement.
Additional responsibilites include developing performance reports for stakeholders throughout the organization that demonstrate results of growth marketing initiatives and product performance, as well as providing recommendations for improvements and new strategies.

What you'll be doing in this role:
Coaches, develops and evaluates team members to ensure each team member is achieving their career goals.
Collaborates with stakeholders within the department and within the organization to identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to increase market share.
Prioritizes areas for growth and recommends products and services to support these initiatives using data, insights and research.Manages the entire member life-cycle, including assistance with product development, go-to-market product launches, new member acquisition, activation, cross-selling, retention and engagement.
Identifies, implements and manages marketing technology stack required for data analytics, insights and performance tracking. Utilize analytics, CRM and digital engagement tools and explores new technology to support growth.Conducts segmentation and targeting analyses to identify personas in omni-channel marketing
Works closely with cross-functional teams to execute innovative growth initiatives; builds data-driven reports to measure the impact and success of these initiatives.
Proactively collaborates with stakeholders to define success metrics, set budgets and establish timeframes in alignment with the organizations core needs and strategy.
Identify and introduce new member acquisition channels, such as partnerships or affiliates, based on audience personas, demographics, product value propositions and buyer-cycles.
Develop and deliver high-quality loyalty campaigns that enhance member retention and increase the lifetime value.Serves as team player of the leadership team, participating and adding to strategic decisions and opportunities of the Credit Union.
Engaged in Credit Union's long and short term strategic planning.Assists the Credit Union in achieving its purpose to aMAIZE our members, community and team by working together for our shared success.
Volunteers in various activities sponsored by UMCU within the University of Michigan and communities we serve; representing UMCU at events, internal or external meetings/trainings, team building or UMCU events.
Onboards new team members as needed.Serves as a volunteer within communities served by UMCU and represents the Credit Union at various functions and committees.
Is aware of and will follow all credit union policies and procedures regarding BSA, OFAC, U.S. Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Customer Identification Program.
Performs other duties as required.
What you'll need for this role:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Proven experience in growth marketing, preferably within the financial services industry.
Strong knowledge and use of marketing technology and analytics tools.
Proficiency in HubSpot, Google Analytics, Salesforce, and other relevant marketing and CRM tools and software.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Data-driven mindset with a focus on ROI and performance metrics.
Innovative thinker with a strategic approach to growth initiatives.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
The environment is typical of an office atmosphere. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
