    Description


    Lead and analyze current and future needs of semiconductor manufacturers, conduct market validation, and establish marketing requirements for future semiconductor process tools, product lines, and platforms.

    Lead and own for business objectives of certain regions/accounts and supporting presales and after-sales projects through product lifecycle planning, including defining and executing strategies for these products and developing their technical marketing requirements, including product strategy definition, requirements analysis, and pricing.

    Drive the integration of technical aspects and features of the aforementioned products into the development of business plans, lifecycles, and product positioning in the marketplace.

    Drive and own market research and assessment, monitor competitive activity, and identify current and anticipated technical and business needs of key players within semiconductor industry.

    Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and sales, serving as technical liaison to develop new products or features and business plans as well as enhance products.

    Develop new product roadmap and business plan. Lead and oversee promotion of products requiring technical expertise and their support for installation and use. Own and maintain product roadmaps to ensure that KLA products stay ahead of industry trends.

    Create product value and promote value to customers, acting as point of contact between customer and division, and work closely with regional teams to define product adoption strategies for the specific accounts as well as develop and present technical product presentations to key customers.

    Review and approve the customer engagement plans for direct reports. Mentor and prepare direct reports for internal presentations to management and external presentations to customers.

    Guide direct reports in managing the released and sustaining products, approve strategic or CIP engagements where it makes business sense.

    Requires management of direct report(s). Position requires travel to various, unanticipated sites throughout U.S. Up to 30% of domestic travel to various, unanticipated sites throughout the U.S. is required for the position.

    The travel is required for overseeing customer engagements, meeting key internal and external stakeholders for strategy and planning discussions, technical roadmap, and executive customer meetings.

    May telecommute.


    Salary range:
    $185,901-$195,700 per year.

    Job Requirements:

    Master's degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or related field (or foreign equivalent) and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in an engineering-related occupation.
