Allison Mi

I'm a college student at Harvard University. I have been passionate about marketing and communications since high school. I was the Editor-in-Chief of my high school newspaper, and the Chief Marketing Officer of a summer camp. I also managed two local cafes' marketing and social media as side jobs, and volunteered to be in charge of the Twitter account of Michigan Medicine (26K+ employees). I interned in a non-profit clinic, streamlined its communication processes, and expanded its exposure via new digital platforms. 

At Harvard, I am a marketing associate for the world-renowned newspaper The Harvard Crimson,  a Marketing and Communications Associate for the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations, and the Social Director of the Harvard Radcliffe Orchestra. I enjoy the vibrant college environment by learning quickly from training sessions and collaboratively working with talented teams.

● Inno Education (Summer Camp), Chief Marketing Officer (2021 – 2023): Led all marketing operations, increasing campers by over 100% and counselor applications by three folds 

● TAC TAC (Michigan Medicine Adolescent Council), Council Member (2021 – 2023): Coordinated international conferences and collaborated with healthcare professionals to improve adolescent healthcare, and spearheaded a marketing campaign, doubling the number of youth council applications 

● Michigan Medicine, Editor and Social Media Coordinator (2022 – 2023): Edited blog articles, and managed social media account

● Sweetwaters Cafe and Moonwinks Cafe, Communications Manager (2022): Increased impressions by 8,000% and views by 37K (Sweetwaters), boosted followers from 300 to 800 and accumulated 34K views (Moonwinks), and spearheaded event planning and partnerships with local businesses that engaged hundreds of community members

● The Huron Emery (school newspaper), Editor-in-Chief (2021 – 2023): Led a team of 60+ staff members, constituting Print, Website, and Social Media, and generated 6 print issues and 200+ online postings per year
