- Provide the BDM and BDR support and direction at existing and potential customers within their assigned market segment
- Prospect New business within assigned market segment
- Engage with Marketing to coordinate Trade Show schedules and displays
- Engage Marketing to launch new product launches and product campaigns
- Communicate competitive threats in assigned markets
- Develop relationships at the highest level within each assigned customer
- Initiate new product concepts that can be used in their assigned market space
- Develop and grow assigned customers with custom and standard products
- Develop a solid and trusting relationship between assigned customers and Allegis
- Assist in solving product and quality issues as they arise
- Manage communications between customers and internal teams on assigned customer list
- Create account plan with sales management to improve customer results
- Leverage internal resources to ensure the highest quality of customer service
- Participate in market campaigns developed by management
- Must have engineering background and a desire to research new technologies
- Must be willing to travel nationally and often.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and drive results with customers in assigned market
- Ability to multitask and manage assigned customers

- Must be Self-motivated and Self-directed
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills that support BDM/BDR activity
- In-depth understanding of Allegis key customer(s) and their position in the industry
- must be able to develop a comprehensive market strategy based on customer potential applications and coordination of Allegis products.
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Basic computer skills, experience with CRM software, Microsoft Teams and on-line meeting tools
- Proven results of delivering customer solutions and growth
- Manage supplier joint field sales calls while protecting Allegis intellectual property

Job DescriptionThe Sales Engineer is an industry based position responsible for defining the overall industry plan: defining target customers, target applications, and target products for a given industry. In conjunction with the Allegis Business Development Representative (BDR) and the Business Development Manager (BDM) the Sales Engineer will support the team with product introductions and design assistance. The Sales Engineer will introduce new product technologies and use their engineering expertise to help the BDM grow their assigned territory. This role will be responsible for customers and prospects that have the highest strategic value that would provide the highest overall growth in the assigned market space and work closely with Allegis Sales Management to ensure current and potential customers have access to the correct resources. This role will also drive and participate in trade shows within their respective market space.
