- Prepare the monthly financial reporting and consolidation.
- Create monthly financial statements for review by the senior management team.
- Enhance efficiency in global reporting activities.
- Implement international accounting standards.
- Provide financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Oversee the monthly closing process on a global scale.
- Manage global shared services activities.
- Monitor fixed asset accounting for accuracy.
- Ensure timely completion of account reconciliations.
- Investigate technical US GAAP matters as needed.
- Audit internal controls for adequacy and compliance
- Lead specialized studies addressing critical areas for senior management.
- Recommend enhancements to current accounting systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a global leadership capacity.
- Prior experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry required.
- Proven track record of driving financial performance, improving processes, and implementing financial systems.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively to diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership presence, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals in a matrixed organization.
