    Description

    Position Overview: As the Finance Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the company's financial well-being. Leading all financial functions, you will give strategic guidance to senior leadership on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Development of Financial Strategy: Create and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with business goals and growth plans.
    • Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the yearly budgeting process, encompassing revenue forecasting, expense planning, and variance analysis. Offer insightful financial analysis and suggestions to senior management for decision-making.
    • Financial Reporting: Supervise the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely financial reports, covering monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Management of Cash Flow: Effectively handle cash flow to enhance liquidity and back day-to-day operations. Create plans to lessen financial risks and maximize working capital.
    • Risk Management: Recognize and evaluate financial risks and possibilities, devising strategies to mitigate risks and benefit from opportunities. Implement strong internal controls to protect company assets.
    • Monitoring Financial Performance: Keep track of key financial metrics and performance indicators, offering regular updates to senior management. Identify trends, concerns, and improvement opportunities, proposing necessary actions.
    • Financial Operations: Supervise all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting. Ensure precision and integrity of financial data and transactions.
    • Relationship Management: Establish and sustain solid relationships with internal stakeholders, like department heads and senior management, to encourage collaboration and alignment on financial goals and objectives.
    • Team Leadership: Provide leadership, advice, and guidance to the finance team. Cultivate a culture of excellence, accountability, and ongoing enhancement.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA desired.
    • Demonstrated expertise (5+ years) in a senior finance position, ideally in the advertising or creative sector.
    • Strong financial knowledge and analytical skills, capable of translating financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
    • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, adept at collaborating and influencing cross-functional teams.
    • Strategic mindset with a history of crafting and executing successful financial strategies.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting tools/software.
    • Familiarity with accounting principles and practices, such as GAAP.
    • High standards of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
