    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Pace of Southwest Michigan.

    Requirements:
    Education:

    Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
    Experience:

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis.
    Number/Type of Employees Supervised:

    None
    Licensure, Registry, or Certification Required :

    Valid Michigan's Driver's License preferred. CPR certification upon hire.
    Special Training:

    Only acts within scope of practice.

    Meet a standardized set of orientation and/or individual competencies for the specific position description established by PACE of Southwest Michigan, and approved by CMS before working independently.

    Immunizations:

    Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up to date before engaging in direct participant contact.
    Specific Requirements and Considerations:

    May be subject to exposure and handling of infectious waste, diseases, conditions or hazardous chemicals, etc., including potential exposure to TB, AIDS, and/or Hepatitis B.

    Adult, Geriatric Key Responsibilities:


    • Conducts financial analysis and prepares reports for management.
    • Creates and maintains financial models to support sound decision-making.
    • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
    • Attend monthly senior leadership meetings to present budget to actual detail.
    • Identifies trends, opportunities, and risks utilizing financial data.
    • Analyzes and audits accounts payable to verify accuracy and identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase cash flow.
    • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive business initiatives.
    • Provides recommendations for improving financial performance.
    • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned. Skills and Knowledge
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
    • Excellent computer skills including advanced Excel skills, and comfortability utilizing Word, Outlook, and accounting software.
    • Knowledge of principles of accounting/finance.
    • Proficient in data management systems.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Advanced user of MS Excel for spreadsheet analytics.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Self-directed with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Ability to work a flexible work schedule.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a positive demeanor.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills.
