    Viceroy L'Ermitage Beverly Hills uniquely captures pure unadulterated luxury and captivating experiences through a modern lens. Peacefully situated on a tree-lined residential street, yet a short stroll from the bustle of Rodeo Drive, the boutique hotel is renowned for its legendary elegance and unquestioned privacy. This 116-room all-suite hotel offers a welcoming environment which has appealed to discerning visitors and locals alike for decades. The restaurant, Avec Nous, offers a menu inspired by iconic Southern French dishes complemented by California farm-fresh ingredients and modern techniques.

    **Scope of this Position:**

    The Bell Person is responsible for ensuring the arrival and departure processes are seamless and is available to assist with guest needs during their stay in a professional, prompt and courteous manner.

    Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.

    Welcomes and escorts guests upon arrival, in the most welcoming demeanor possible, to and from their rooms.

    Have a high standard of quality of service and courtesy, bringing total satisfaction to our guests and the hotel.

    Acquires a working knowledge of the hotel, informing guests of all safety features and promoting hotel outlets, in-house facilities, and local information to respond to guest inquiries.

    Be aware of VIP's room assignments, check-out, airport pick-up and drop-off, etc.

    Provide proper delivery of morning newspapers.

    Assisting with amenity, envelope, package, and equipment deliveries.

    Ensure lobby procedures are followed (post positions, cleanliness, etc.).

    Follow a workable check-room system for luggage that protects the hotel and guest from loss or damage.

    Keeps baggage storage area clean.

    Maintain a good working relationship between the staff and other departments.

    Follow the requirements for, and the follow-up on, special groups or VIPs.

    Have accurate and complete guest assistance information available regarding events taking place in town, restaurants, athletic events, etc.

    **Skills/Knowledge Required:**

    Excellent listening and communication skills.

    The ability to exercise the personal discipline and extra diligence to assure that projects are completed on timely basis.

    The ability to motivate and inspire others to work cooperatively to achieve a designated goal.

    The ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent Hotel data.

    **Flexible schedule** - Willing and able to work shift duties that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

    **Physical Requirements:**

    Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks.

    Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 75lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.

    Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.

    **Qualification Standards:**

    **Education:** High School Diploma required

    **Experience:** 1-year previous experience in a similar position in a luxury hotel preferred

    **Licenses or Certificates:** none

    **Grooming:** All colleagues must maintain a neat, and well-groomed appearance (specific standards will be provided)
