- Multi-Discipline Project Coordination
- Mentor junior staff
- Perform work that may include, but is not limited to, construction document (plan and specifications), technical reports preparation and/or oversight; engineering analyses, cost estimates and quality control/quality assurance in order to deliver a quality design product.
- Implement regulatory requirements and design standards
- Other duties as required.
- Growing, mentoring, and developing the staff within discipline area to allow each person to achieve their maximum potential.
- Minimum annual evaluations for each direct report.
- Providing technical guidance/leadership for discipline area.
- Organizing staff in a way to allow career advancement, professional development, quality client service, and operational efficiencies to meet business and project financial goals.
- Taking a very active role in recruitment of staff in discipline area including networking, recruitment, interviewing and deal closing.
- BS degree in Civil Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer is preferred.
- 5-10 years of design experience related to civil engineer related design projects.
- AutoCad required and Civil3D and Microstation preferable.
- Looking for experience in site/civil design, roadway/transportation design, stormwater management and project management skills.
- Communicates effectively.
