    Beloit Club Description

    **WHO WE ARE**

    Regarded as one of the best country club lifestyles in Wisconsin, the Beloit Club offers our members an award-winning 18-hole golf course, family-friendly pool areas, a stunning clubhouse facility spanning 24,000 square feet and incredible dining experiences at every stop.

    **WHO YOU ARE**

    You will greet guests and escort them to their tables. You will also take reservations, confirm reservations and assist serving staff where needed.

    **WHAT YOU WILL DO**

    Make reservations in Jonas, knowledge of all functions regarding Jonas

    Be knowledgeable of all menu items including any specials

    Assist front of house staff when necessary

    Keep menus clean, fresh looking, and up to date

    General housekeeping where required - mopping, window washing, sweeping, restroom cleaning/stocking, front entry

    Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs

    Ensure that all members/guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service always.

    Possess excellent interpersonal skills to relate effectively with members/guests

    Ability to pay attention to detail

    Have exceptional organizational skills

    Maintain personal appearance to the standards of The Beloit Club

    Able to be flexible, perform multiple tasks at once, and work in and with a team

    Perform general office duties such as answering the telephone, sorting/opening incoming mail, and preparing items for mailing.

    Excellent phone etiquette

    Provide information about the club, other Geronimo Hospitality Group's businesses, and local features

    Greet guests as they arrive and escort them to their seats. Provide a menu and explain specials. Answer any immediate questions the patrons have.

    Introduce the customers to their server.

    An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.

    Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Associates with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.

    Upon employment, all associates are required to fully comply with The Beloit Club's rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the buildings facilities. Associates who violate The Beloit Club's rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

    Requirements

    **WHAT WE NEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)**

    **Education -** High School or equivalent degree

    **Technology/Equipment -** Basic computer skills

    **PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS**

    While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stopping, and crouching. The position may require occasional lifting of products weighing up to 50 pounds.

    **WORK ENVIRONMENT**

    This position operates in a Restaurant/Clubhouse setting. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns.
