    Randstad, in partnership with one of our clients in North Miami Beach, is actively seeking a Medical Records Clerk to join their team Randstad is known for our desire and ability to match people with companies and positions that will develop their potential.

    salary:
    $17.5 - $18 per hour


    shift:
    First

    work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

    Responsibilities


    • Candidate will be responsible for maintaining patient files and responding to requests for medical records.
    • Support Primary Care Physicians and in-house specialists at a busy medical center
    • Maintain patient files and retrieve files for scheduled appointments
    • Process letters and reports, as well as respond to requests for medical records in a timely manner.
    • Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained and keep records in compliance with company policies and federal, state and location regulations.
    • Perform other duties as needed, such as, physician calls, and follow up as directed with letters to different agencies and other provider's offices.
    • Candidate must be bilingual - English and Spanish and have previous experience working in a healthcare environment
    • Must have experience with medical terminology as well as proficiency in electronic health record software.
